Chatham Volunteer Fire & Rescue, has been utilizing the park for water rescue training for approximately 19 years according to Dave Nagel, a department member. The Cooper and Pierce families have been very gracious, in allowing Chatham Fire & Rescue to use their facilities for this very important training.
